The organization grew out of the same philosophy behind the Outside the Box initiative: the idea that many people are capable of positive change, but lack the environment, structure, and guidance needed to sustain it. Through years of working with individuals facing adversity, it became clear that mindset alone is not enough—environment matters.

Our homes are non-medical, alcohol- and drug-free residences designed to support accountability, routine, and positive daily habits during a critical transition period.

How It Works
What’s the First Step for a Resident?
The first step is to contact Vision Alignment Homes directly or submit a referral through a treatment provider, case manager, or supervising officer. Prospective residents complete a brief screening to ensure the home is an appropriate fit.
During this process, we review:
• Sobriety commitment
• Current transition stage
• Willingness to follow house guidelines
• Employment or goal plan
If approved, the resident signs a residency agreement and reviews house expectations before move-in.
What Do House Expectations Look Like?
Vision Alignment Homes operates as a structured, non-medical sober living environment. Residents are expected to:
• Maintain a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle
• Follow curfew and house schedules
• Participate in regular house meetings
